Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want every customer to be able to browse the shop, place an order, and read reviews — regardless of how you access the web. That includes folks who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnifiers, or any other assistive technology. We follow recognized web accessibility standards and keep working on it.

Standard we target

We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across the site. This is the standard referenced by U.S. courts and federal agencies as the benchmark for ADA compliance. We test regularly and fix issues as we find them.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading order on every page
  • Descriptive alt text on every meaningful image
  • Sufficient color contrast on text and interactive elements
  • Keyboard accessibility for the entire site, including the cart and order request flow
  • Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
  • Forms have associated labels and clear, plainly-worded error messages
  • A skip-to-content link for screen reader and keyboard users
  • We respect prefers-reduced-motion for animations
  • Reviews and ratings are real, owner-moderated, and never altered to manipulate scores
  • We don’t use third-party accessibility-overlay widgets. The disability community has documented that these tools often interfere with assistive technology rather than help. We’d rather build accessibility into the site itself than paint over it with a script.

What we’re still working on

  • Continued review of admin pages (which only the shop owner uses)
  • Audit of any third-party embedded content as we add it (social feeds, payment providers, etc.)
  • Issues users report to us
