We’re a small artisan toffee business in Port Saint Lucie, FL. We collect a small amount of information so we can get you your toffee. Here’s exactly what we collect, why, and how to reach us if you want it changed or deleted.

What we collect

• When you place an order: your name, phone number, optional email, optional preferred contact method, optional pickup date, and any special-request notes you write.
• When you submit a review: your display name, optional email (private), star rating, and your review text.
• When you sign up for the newsletter: your email address.
• When you visit the site: anonymous traffic stats via Vercel Analytics (page views, devices, countries — no personal data, no advertising trackers).

What we use it for

• Order info→ so we can contact you about your order and arrange pickup or dropoff.
• Email (if you give us one) → to confirm we received your order request and respond if we need more info.
• Review info→ to display your review publicly (your display name + comment + rating). Email stays private and is only used if we need to reach you about the review.
• Newsletter email→ only to email you about Thrive Toffee. We don’t share or sell.

Who has access

Owner (Jenn). The data is stored in Postgres on Neon, hosted by Vercel, and emails go through Resend. None of these companies have any rights to use your information beyond providing the storage/email service to us.

Cookies

We use exactly one cookie: admin_session, only set when the owner signs into the backstage at /admin. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party widgets.

Your rights

• You can ask us to delete your order or review at any time. Email thrivetoffee@yahoo.com or call (772) 626-0698. We’ll handle requests within 5 business days.
• You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by replying to any newsletter email or by emailing us.

Sharing

We don’t sell or share your information with anyone for marketing purposes — ever. Period.

Kids

Our site isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the page and the “Last reviewed” date. Significant changes that affect existing customers will be communicated by email.
